April 2020 by Donald W. Flaig, Esq.
As we all navigate a “new normal” due to COVID-19, we would like to update you on how The Flaig Law Firm is handling business and making itself available to you during this time.
Our firm is OPEN, WORKING and COMMITTED to doing the right thing for our clients!
Currently we are seeing clients in the office for the signing of legal documents only. All other business is telephonic. To ensure our clients safety, our office is thoroughly wiped down and sanitized. When handling signings, we are all wearing masks and gloves. We ask that our clients wear and bring their own masks and we will provide the gloves for you. If you are uncomfortable with signing at this time, we can still get your documents ready now so they can be signed when you are comfortable.
For our Estate Planning Clients (both current and potential)
We are here for you as to the following:
- To answer questions
- Do a trust review
- Prepare amendments
- Handle full Living Trust preparation along with all ancillary documents
If you do not have a Trust, it’s time to get the ball rolling! You are most likely with your family and it is a great time to do what perhaps you have been putting off for some time. Let’s work together to get this done now!
This is also a great time to review your current Trust documents to ensure there are no changes that need to be made and your wishes are being met. In addition, it’s important to be sure that your Trust is fully funded (ie, your assets are actually titled into the name of the trust to avoid probate).
For our Business/Corporate Law Clients
We are ready to assist you with all of your legal needs. We are continuing to do the following:
– Drafting legal documents – Answer questions you may have – We are also continuing to handle Corporate maintenance to ensure your business remains in good standing – We are continuing our incorporating services for new companies. The Secretary of State is still open, and we can incorporate during this time.
Let us know how we can be of assistance during this challenging time. We are here for you. Please be safe and take care of yourself and loved ones!
